Lines for a demo

Gonna do a painting demo for a photoshop class tomorrow. These are just the lines, thought they looked better than the actual painting.

The painting would be a lot better with a space unicorn, which I'm seriously considering including into the final composition.

The Girl On Fire

Hunger Games fan art!

This is a rendition of what I think Katniss's debut outfit in the first book looks like. The faces from top left to bottom are as follows: Gale, President Snow, Cinna, Peeta, Haymitch, and Rue.

I recommend that you open this image in a new tab to get the full range of detail.

Storyboards: The Matrix

La Llorona

Some viz dev based on a mexican folk ghost tale, La Llorona. The original story is meant to be a cautionary tale to warn children not to wander off or misbehave, for La Llorona, or "The Weeping Woman", is in an eternal search for her children whom she has drowned with her own hands out of passion and despair for a man who bore them with her and yet denied her the love she sought from him.

The artwork derives not directly from the folktale, but from a contemporary California ghost story about a widower who learns of the tale and comes to confront the ghost itself.
